I’m excited to share a milestone:
Bridging Worlds: First Steps, the first volume of my multi-year Bridging Worlds series, now has its official ISBN and is available for download.
This book began as my Grade 6 Reading Challenge, where I tried to connect classic novels with contemporary nonfiction and with the questions I was asking about my own life. Over time, it grew into a complete project — my first published volume as part of the Alpha Generation Reads the Classics framework.
🌉 What This Book Is About
Bridging Worlds: First Steps (Book 1, Volume 1) explores themes like ambition, belonging, healing, compassion, curiosity, justice, and courage through:
- Classic literature (Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, The Secret Garden, Black Beauty, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, etc.)
- Paired nonfiction articles that expand each theme into real-world questions
- Reflections and narrative echoes from my own experiences in school, swimming, reading, and growing up
Each chapter is one “bridge” — connecting a timeless story to modern research and to my own thinking.
This book became the foundation for my larger series, including:
- Book 1 Volume 2 – Voices in Dialogue (Grade 7–8 reflections)
- Book 2 – Student Opinion Essays (NYT-inspired modern topics)
- Book 3 – Comparative Reflections (long-term analytical project, 2026–2028)

Thank you for reading and supporting my first steps.
I hope these reflections inspire you to see how stories — old and new — can shape the way we think about ourselves and our world.
