The Terry Fox Run at Sterling Hall was a school thing for my little brother. We were running for Morrison House because that’s his team, and our family contributed 20 points in total.

But my dad accidentally pulled me through the McClintock gate, so 2 points went to McClintock. They ended up winning, so I guess we helped them a bit, by mistake.

It was fine though. I had fun running with my dad, and it felt good to be part of the community that supports such a meaningful cause.

My brother Max even designed bookmarks to support the Terry Fox Foundation — our family donates $2 for each bookmark picked by someone in the community. It was nice seeing how small ideas can help in big ways.
